I go by Katherine (not Katie), Bowes rhymes with toes, my emails contain too many exclamation points, and it takes me way too long to decide on my order at any restaurant.

I’m a Minneapolis-based wedding and lifestyle photographer for laidback and lighthearted couples. I attended the College of Saint Benedict where I received two degrees in Communication and Art (with an emphasis in Photography). It wasn’t until I photographed my first wedding in 2018 when I realized my hobby of photography - combined with the communication needed for wedding days - was actually my biggest passion!

I currently reside in Minneapolis with my husband (Buddy), two dogs (Louie + Dezi), and cat (Miss Meow). We live in the charming home my grandpa built in 1951. Spending time with family, working on house projects, staying active outdoors or in my home gym, cooking at home, and trying out new restaurants are some of my favorite pastimes. Buddy and I make pizza together at least once a week, and some type of spice gets added to every pie (jalapeños, red pepper flakes, hot sauce, etc.) I’m a hugger, and I already can’t wait to meet you!
